Time to reveal Challenge One for the July "Lights, Camera, Action" Cyber Crop at Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia...
Challenge 1 – The Spotlight’s On You Baby!!!
Yep, that's right!!! For this challenge you need to create a layout starring YOU!!!
Yep, that's right!!! For this challenge you need to create a layout starring YOU!!!
You must be the focus of your layout... tell us all about you...
- what you love and what you don't
- your dreams or wishes for the future
- and if you're game, share a little secret that nobody knows...
(mine's pretty shameful, as you will see when you read my journalling!)
You also need to include a photo of YOU!!!
You have full creative license to use as much or as little other "stuff" on your layout. You might be able to spy one of Sue's gorgeous buttons that I just love to pieces.
I just want you to have fun, and come up with something you can have a giggle about in years to come...
Enjoy xx
The winner of this challenge will receive $25 of handmade goodies from Joyful Blooms Crafts!
All entries must be loaded to the gallery by midnight Sunday 24th July!!

Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia July Cyber Crop
"Lights, Camera, Action!"
Opening Night Mini Challenge
When you hear the words Lights, Camera, Action, you probably think of actors on a movie set...
Well, for this challenge, you need to create a card or mini layout (smaller than 12 x 12) paying tribute to the movie industry...
You might opt for a vintage film inspired card or layout or even just “borrow” the title from one of your favourite flicks and apply it to an appropriate photo from your stash to use on your layout as I have done...
I ended up whipping up 3 very quick mini layouts using the movie titles:

MY SCRAPROOM RULES - Week 6
For the final week of the My Scraproom Rules competition we were issued with 3 mini challenges...
The first - to create something using a wooden spoon and scrap supplies.
The second - to create a cupcake (either an Off-the-Page, a layout, or card).
The third - to create an Old Meets New layout - using newly acquired scraps (leftovers) from the MSR competition kits and add in some old world (vintage) charm...
So... Here's what I came up with for the final week...
